The University College Birmingham (UCB) Vice Chancellor Scholarship is a full scholarship support for outstanding international students who demonstrate academic excellence.

University College Birmingham is a university in Birmingham, England. It was awarded full university status in 2012 along with Newman University. It is not a member of Universities UK.

Scholarship eligibility requirements:

To be considered for the UCB Vice Chancellor Award, you must note the following:

  • You must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate  programme University College Birmingham starting in September 2026. Part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
  • You must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees. Home fee payers are not eligible.
  • You must have paid at least £1,000 towards your deposit within 14 days of receiving your scholarship offer. Otherwise, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn.
  • You agree to provide testimonials, feature in case studies and/or participate in marketing activities upon request.
  • The minimum requirements are 144 UCAS tariff points (or international equivalents) for undergraduate programmes and 1st class honours (or international equivalents) for postgraduate programmes.
  • This scholarship is available to students’ first year of study only.
  • You agree to provide testimonials, feature in case studies and/or participate in marketing activities upon request.

  • Submit your application via one of the following links, depending on your intake: February 2026September 2026 or February 2027.
  • Include a personal statement and in 500 words, demonstrate your achievements in your field of study, your career aspirations, and your contribution to the betterment of society.
