The Stanford University Summer Internship is a fully funded opportunity for undergraduate students to engage in practical activities to consolidate their theoretical knowledge.
In collaboration with Stanford University, Afrisnet is pleased to announce a summer research internship opportunity for students from the University of Ibadan. The finalists will spend 8-10 ten weeks in a research training internship at Stanford University in the United States during the summer of 2025.

Stanford University is a private research university in Stanford, California, United States. It was founded in 1885 by railroad magnate Leland Stanford, the eighth governor of and then-incumbent senator from California, and his wife, Jane, in memory of their only child, Leland Jr.

Scholarship eligibility requirements:
To be considered for the Stanford University Summer Undergraduate Research FellowshipES, you must:
- Applicant MUST be a Nigerian
- Applicant MUST be a student from the university of Ibadan.
- Applicants MUST be Third-year student (who will complete their third year before September 2025).
- Applicants MUST have First Class Honors with a cumulative grade point average of 70/100 or above.
- Applicants MUST have demonstrated interest in research in biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Applicants MUST be willing spend 8-10 ten weeks in a research training internship at Stanford University in the United States during the summer of 2025.

Scholarship Benefits:
The Stanford University SURF Internship provides students with;
- housing,
