About gsis scholarship 2022 to 2023

A GSIS Scholarship Program (GSP) is intended to provide financial assistance to children or dependents of low-income GSIS members and permanent total disability (PTD) pensioners under the age of 60. The pension fund will cover up to Php40,000.00 in tuition and miscellaneous fees per academic year, as well as a monthly allowance of Php3,000.00 for each scholar. We have 400 scholarships available, with 40 going to dependents of disabled people, indigenous peoples, and solo or single parents.

All permanent government employees with at least three (3) years of service and a salary grade of 24 or lower, or its equivalent job level, who are active and regular GSIS members at the time of application and have paid premiums for the previous six (6) months, are eligible.

gsis scholarship 2022 to 2023 REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

Please submit the following documents to the nearest GSIS office for processing for all applicants:

GSIS Scholarship Application Form Certificate of Employment

Certification from the school that the nominated scholar has been accepted as an incoming college freshman for the current academic year
Birth Certificate for a Dependent
GSIS Print out your Business Partner (BP) number – please coordinate with the GSIS frontline information officer.
Please submit the following additional requirements for applicants who belong to a sectoral group:

Endorsement from the head of the agency/office attesting to the veracity of your claim that you belong to the sector you have checked
PWD ID from the local social welfare development office (LSWDO) or National Council on Disability Affairs; Certificate of Confirmation of Tribal Membership from.

 HOW TO APPLY FOR gsis scholarship 2022 to 2023

Requirements:

Eligible GSIS members may download the form from the GSIS website (www.gsis.gov.ph) for processing along with the requirements.
It must be submitted to the nearest GSIS office or via email to gsisscholarship@gsis.gov.ph. Only those who met the aforementioned requirements are eligible to apply.

Four hundred (400) scholarship slots will be distributed proportionally by region. Priority will be given to applicants who meet the aforementioned qualifications and have the lowest annual basic salary. If two applicants have the same annual basic salary, the applicant with the most years of service will be given preference.
Scholars will have thirty (30) days from the first date of publication of the list of qualifiers in a general circulation newspaper to submit the following requirements to the nearest GSIS Office:
Information Sheet; and Enrollment Assessment Form (if already available).
If the requirements are not submitted within the time frame specified, the grant will be forfeited.
