SCHOLARSHIP: University of Dundee, UK International Scholarship for Undergraduate | Masters Students
The University of Dundee is making available Global Excellence Scholarships to inspiring applicants for the university’s undergraduate and Masters degree programmes, who have demonstrated excellence through their academic, extra-curricular, or voluntary activities.
About university:
The University of Dundee[a] is a public research university based in Dundee, Scotland. It was founded as a university college in 1881 with a donation from the prominent Baxter family of textile manufacturers. The institution was, for most of its early existence, a constituent college of the University of St Andrews alongside United College and St Mary’s College located in the town of St Andrews itself. Following significant expansion, the University of Dundee gained independent university status by royal charter in 1967 while retaining elements of its ancient heritage and governance structure.

Scholarship eligibility requirements:
To qualify for the Global Excellence Scholarship, the candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements:
- Required Language: English.
- Eligible Countries: All world countries
- Undergraduate Admission Requirements:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for an undergraduate programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2025. If you are studying a programme in the School of Medicine or Dentistry, then you are not eligible.
- Hold International Fee status, as determine by the University;
- Have achieved a UK AAB at A Level (or above) or equivalent to this level at the discretion of the University.
- Postgraduate Admission Requirements:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for a postgraduate taught programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2025 or January 2026. The programe must be a full time, 180 credit, 12 month programme;
- Hold International Fee status, as determined by the University;
- Have achieved either a UK 1st Class Honours degree or degree considered as equivalent to this level at the discretion of the University
Scholarship Application Guidelines:
Please follow the following application instructions to apply for this scholarship:
- You must apply firstly for the university here to get an offer.
- Once you have submitted your course application and have been made an offer of entry to the University of Dundee, whether conditional or unconditional, the university will notify you via email if you are eligible for the award. You will not be able to submit a scholarship application without being made an offer.
Note: If the university invites you to apply, then the scholarship application link will be sent via email for you to complete. The university will notify you about the decision within 8 weeks of receiving your application.
Scholarship Benefits:
Global Excellence Scholarship will provide for academic excellence up to £5,000 per year (£15,000 for a 3 year degree, £20,000 for a 4 year degree, £25,000 for a 5 year degree)
