Scholarship details:

• University or Organization: University College London (UCL)
• Department: All departments offering full-time Master’s programs
• Course Level: Postgraduate scholarship and Master’s degree
• Award: Tuition fees, maintenance payment (approx. £20,000), Immigration Health Surcharge, visa fees, and one return flight
• Access Mode: Online application
• Number of Awards: Up to 4 scholarships available for the academic year 2025/26
• Nationality: International (excluding current UK residents)
• The award can be taken in: the United Kingdom

Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Eligible Countries: All countries outside the United Kingdom.
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open for full-time Master’s degree programs in any subject offered by UCL. (Distance learning and part-time Master’s programs are not eligible.)
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be at serious risk as a result of armed conflict and/or displaced within the last three years due to armed conflict, seeking international protection outside the UK.
  • Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
  • Come from a lower-income background, as defined by UCL.
  • Not already hold a qualification at the same or higher level as the course applied for.
  • Hold an offer for a full-time Master’s program at UCL by the start of June 2025.

Scholarship Application Guidelines:

1. Submit an admission application to UCL, including references, before applying for the scholarship.
2. Visit the International Master’s Awards page for detailed application procedures.
3. Ensure you apply for the scholarship by 5 PM BST, Thursday, 8 May 2025.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Full coverage of tuition fees for the normal duration of the program.
• Maintenance payment to cover accommodation and living costs (approximately £20,000).
• Allowance for the Immigration Health Surcharge, visa fees, and one return flight.
• The scholarship is tenable for one year unless the program is two years in length.
