Scholarship eligibility requirements:
To be considered for the Nottingham Trent University UK Scholarship, you must:
- Be available to commence study on 1 October 2025.
- Hold a first-class or upper second-class honors degree (or equivalent). Applicants with a lower second-class degree must have a Master’s degree at Merit level or higher.
- Must not already hold a PhD or be enrolled in a doctoral program at NTU.
- Meet the English Language proficiency requirements of the institution.
- Submit all required documents and information by 14 February 2025.

To apply for the Nottingham Trent University Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;

- Visit NTU’s Strategic Research Theme Studentship 2025 page to browse available projects.
- Once you’ve selected a project, click the “Apply now” button to access the online application form.
- Create an NTU Admissions account and verify your email.
- Complete the application form. The online form will prompt you to provide:
- Personal details
- Academic qualifications
- Responses to standard competency questions
- Contact information for two referees
- Provide contact details for 2 referees who can provide references and they will be contacted directly by NTU. Ensure references are submitted by 3 April 2025.
- Submit your application online before the deadline.
