The Aquatic Ecology and Systematics Lab at Western Kentucky University (WKU) is searching for an M.S. student to contribute to one of several ongoing projects addressing the systematics and conservation of Plecoptera (stoneflies).

Scholarship eligibility requirements:
To be considered for the Western Kentucky University Graduate Scholarship, you must:
- B.A. or B.S. in Biology, Ecology, or closely related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Wildlife and Fisheries, etc.) with a minimum GPA of 2.75/4.0
Desired qualifications:
- Willingness to focus mainly on stonefly research
- Evidence of a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Field-based coursework
- Research experience in freshwater systems
- Experience with molecular biology lab work (e.g., gel electrophoresis, PCR)
- Experience with ArcGIS
