Scholarship eligibility requirements:

  • Eligible Countries: All countries outside the UK & Republic of Ireland (RoI)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for the Master of Architecture (MArch) programme.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must have International or EU fee status.
    • Applicants must be newly admitted to the first year of the MArch programme commencing in September 2025.
    • The scholarship is automatically applied and is not available in conjunction with other Heriot-Watt funded scholarships (e.g., alumni discount).
    • Students receiving an EU partner fee reduction are not eligible.

Scholarship Application Guidelines:

There is no separate application process. The scholarship will be applied automatically upon admission to the Master of Architecture programme. If the student’s fee status changes after the offer is issued, eligibility for the scholarship will be withdrawn. scholarships@hw.ac.uk

  • £3,000 tuition fee discount for each academic year
  • Award valid for a maximum of two years
  • Total value of up to £6,000
