The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships provide talented students from any of the Commonwealth countries with the chance to earn a degree while developing new skills, gaining exposure to life in another country, and building their global network.
Through cultural exchange and academic collaboration, Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholars work towards finding solutions to shared challenges and bringing about positive change in both their home countries and the countries hosting them. As active members of the Commonwealth network, scholars play a key role in shaping its future.
The application deadline for the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships is May 24th, 2023. The scholarships are available for master’s degree programs. Eligible candidates must be from Commonwealth countries.
The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees, living expenses, a return economy flight, and a one-time arrival allowance. Additionally, a research support grant is available upon request. The program duration is two years, and there are nine awards available.
To be eligible, applicants must be a citizen of (or hold refugee status in) a Commonwealth country other than the host country and have completed an undergraduate degree at a 2:1 equivalent level. They must also provide proof of English language proficiency if English is not their first language.
