The Lebanese Nigeria Initiatives (LNI) is an organization of top level executives from Lebanese companies in Nigeria. Our aim is to promote bilateral relations between Nigeria and Lebanon and we seek to establish various initiatives that will mainly benefit the Nigerian community.

Founded over 150 years ago, The American University of Beirut (AUB) is ranked as the number one university in Lebanon and one of the top 250 in the world (QS World University Ranking). The University believes deeply in and encourages freedom of thought and expression, and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, life-long learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility and leadership.

Minimum GMAT score required for acceptance is 570.

The MBA program is designed for students who have at least 2 years work experience. This way, students can both gain more from and contribute more to the program and to their fellow students’ learning experiences.

Absolutely! The MBA program seeks candidates from a very diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.

Your degree will be a considerable factor. However, the Undergraduate Institution will not be an issue provided it is an Institution accredited and operational under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The LNI Scholarship Board puts an emphasis on leadership potential, strong academic and personal characteristics. In addition to this, the Board also looks for individuals who have engaged in community citizenship activities and who display appreciable features worthy of a great ambassador of LNI.

We require at least two reference letters, at least one professional reference and one academic reference. A good letter of reference will give specific examples as they relate to the applicants and respect word limits.

LNI will contact all shortlisted applicants.

Interviews take place either in person or via skype and lasts for 30 – 60 minutes. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you better and determine if you are the best applicant for the scholarship.

There is no best way to prepare! The idea is for the LNI Scholarship Board members to get to know you better so just be relaxed, be prepared to talk about yourself and communicate your views and responses in a clear and concise manner.

The scholarship covers tuition, boarding as provided by the American University Beirut, and an economy class flight to Lebanon for the commencement of the course and back to Nigeria upon completion of the course.

The scholarship award is offered without any pre or post MBA conditions attached.

The winner of the LNI scholarship automatically gets an MBA admission into AUB. A critical part of the selection process is an interview with AUB

LNI will arrange all Visa and immigration procedures.
